Hi Matthew thanks for the note - I just got my first digital SLR (Nikon D40) and am eager to learn all about it. I'm out of town until mid June but look forward to attending events this summer

I enjoyed yesterday at the Las Colinas studio - not as much there to shoot in the way of props and sets as I would have thought, but still an interesting place for the club to get access for images.

Matthew: Any word on doing the animal shelter shoot? I think it is a great idea and would love to take part. Thanks.
