Thank you for being a foster mom!!!!!! I was about to open the email and recommend it and was so joyfully surprised to read all you have done. What a joy to read and bless you!

I am currently a four kitten house, plus ferals outside: I plan to become the neighborhood neuterer with a Havahart trap. We desperately need it and all those poor feral kitties need it, too.

Good luck in finding a wonderful home for this sweet baby you have given a chance to!

Hi, fellow FoFers!

Please forgive the spamminess of this email, but I need to find a great loving home for a kitty I have been fostering for the past 3 months.
I rescued Vera from a shelter in Azle the day before she was scheduled to be euthanized. She was going to be put down because she had dental problems that the rescue organization couldn't afford to fix. The owner of Dallas Animal Dental, Jim Seehorn, agreed to donate a large portion of the cost of his clinic's services to get her back to perfect health, and I paid the rest out of pocket. She does have caudal stomatitis, but it is easily managed with just 1cc of medication mixed into her canned food daily. The meds cost $39/month and are compounded by Dallas Animal Dental (located on Coit near the LBJ/Central interchange).

She is as bouncy and sweet as can be! She is a little shy when she first meets you, but after you bond she will flop on you and groom your hands and arms. She *loves* curling up next to a human when it's bedtime. And if you're in a hurry to make her shyness disappear, just grab "Da Bird", her favorite toy in the whole wide world! [I'm serious: The phrase, "Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound," comes to mind when watching her zoom after this thing!] :-)

She gets along fabulously with dogs, children, and people of all kinds; but she will need to be slowly introduced to other cats.

I've attached the flier that I've distributed to local vets, but here are some pics of her (Look at *those eyes*):

If you can give her the home she deserves - or can forward this email to anyone else who might be able to - I would be extremely grateful. (And so would Vera!)

Thank you!

P.S. Vera's toes match her pink nose!  :-)
