Have you ever performed music in front of an audience (not counting Karaoke or social jams)?

At one time, I was a folk performer in New York, performing in such venues as the Bitter End, The Cafe Wha, Palisades Park, "Hootenanny", the World's Fair and numerous colleges and universities. I now perform with Shenandoah Run, a 9-person group formed out of SOJO.

Do you play or are you learning a musical instrument? If so, which?

I play guitar and banjo.

Who's your #1 favorite folk or folk-rock performer? Or, who are some of your favorites?

Cass Elliott. I knew her before the Mamas and the Papas and she was a great person as well as a phenomenal performer. I have also always been impressed with Noel Paul Stookey (Paul of PP&M)

What are some of your favorite folk or folk-rock songs?

Today, Julieanne, Gypsy Rover, Try To Remember, For Bobby, Charlottesville

Tell us anything else about yourself you'd care to tell. Answering all these questions is optional, but we're interested.

I am a lover and singer of folk music and have been for a long time. That's me in the white shirt in the middle of my 9-person folk group, Shenandoah Run.

What Bob M. is saying about this Meetup Group

I am impressed at the diversity of the members. An eclectic group but an extremely talented one as well.
