Not for over 25 years but before that yes, lots.
I am playing acoustic guitar and I have a P-Bass I bought in 1965. I have taken lots of music lessons over the years and need to bring it all together.
By far, Gordon Lightfoot. I like his story songs and the musicians he plays with. I like Arlo Guthrie, Nanci Griffith, Woody Guthrie, all the old guys. Oh, a close second is Harry Chapin. Some of his lesser known story songs.
All the "standards" are great. MTA, This Land is Your Land. Lightfoot's "Canadian Railroad Trilogy", " and "Don Quixote". Harry Chapin - "Mr. Tanner", "Story of a Life".

My name is Peter and I took up the guitar after about 25 years. I used to play professionally and always knew I would be taking it up when retirement time came around. Well, it's here and I'm excited!
It fills the bill for providing people a place to play and sing to learn and improve.
