Have you ever performed music in front of an audience (not counting Karaoke or social jams)?

Yes

Do you play or are you learning a musical instrument? If so, which?

In my childhood I wasted my parents' money on many years of piano, violin, and harpsichord lessons. Now that I have my own money to waste, I've taken up the guitar (chord-strumming only) and more recently the English concertina.

Who's your #1 favorite folk or folk-rock performer? Or, who are some of your favorites?

Megson. Mark Erelli. Richard Shindell. Bellowhead. Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem. Tracy Grammer with and without the late Dave Carter. Yeah, it's a six-way tie.

What are some of your favorite folk or folk-rock songs?

Megson: Jane Jamieson's Ghost, Follow It On, Flood Water, The Longshot. Erelli: everything except Let's Make a Family. Shindell: Transit, Get Up Clara. Bellowhead: New York Girls, Across the Line, Flight of the Folk Mutants parts 1 & 2. Arbo/mayhem: Big Old Life, Bridges, Miami Moon. Carter/Grammer: Tanglewood Tree, Phantom Doll, Disappearing Man.

Tell us anything else about yourself you'd care to tell. Answering all these questions is optional, but we're interested.

Introduction

Making music with other people is one of the great joys of life. In[masked] I lived in England, where we sang songs and played tunes in the local pub every week. I'm so very happy to be doing the same sort of thing here.
