Announcing a new meeting for The DC Area Folk SOJO (Sing Out Jam Out)!

What: Amazing May Sing

When: Saturday, May 3, 2:00 PM

optional donation: USD4.00 per person

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meeting Description: Will our first Sing Out Jam Out for may be amazing? There's only one way to find out - be there! Come and sing with us. Bring your voices and instruments. Make it amazing (or at least fun)!

As many of you know, we use the book "Rise Up Singing" as the source for most of the songs we sing, but feel free to bring in your own song(s) if you want to. Make a few copies, if you can, so that people will have the lyrics (and chords, if possible) for the song. There are usually some copies of Rise Up Singing available for sale or a one-time loan for first-timers.

If you've never been to one our our meetups, we're pretty informal, we we sing, we have fun.

The space we use does cost money, so if you can spare $4, we welcome the contribution. If you don't have $4, that's OK too - it is most definitely appreciated, but absolutely not required.
