A few weeks ago, we got into a very interesting discussion about relationships, which led us into the topic of 'arranged marriages'...which in many cultures means 'suitability'. .why they work more than traditional marriages..or do they?
I'd like to talk about what that means to you....not in terms of 'arranged' relationships necessarily, but relationships in general...how do you know/feel/believe what is 'suitable' for you.
Does the word/concept 'suitable' remove all ideas of romance and true love for you? Do you care? Would you rather have 'stability' and 'dependability' vs 'chemistry'?
I'm very into this subject these days as I navigate the social waters as a single woman, wondering...who is right for me (and vice versa)? Would I ever allow anyone to choose someone for me?
How do we ourselves choose the people we partner with? Via our minds/hearts/intellects/families/culture/religions/past personal history? All of the above?
Join us for another night of fun conversation that usually spins into all sorts of side-topics:)
Hope to see you there!
