I have always been interested in the way technology can enhance the production, distribution and even consumption of food. In my past job as the Director of Sales and Marketing at a natural meat company, I was constantly thinking about ways to use technology and partner with others who were finding innovative ways to make consumers aware of new food products, make better food more accessible to consumers and make it easier for us to distribute our products in a cost and environmentally efficient manner. Now as a soon-to-be restaurant operator, I am looking at different ways of using technology for our restaurant to market ourselves and improve the dining experience for our customers.
