Hi Babs, I bought a Klepper 2 person kayak needing the wood stripped and repainted for $75 about 10 years ago through craigslist but put off the job all these years. Boy scouts used to build canvas covered kayaks to paddle around in. I found plans for kayaks for $30 that may only cost $300 to make in a few weekends that has cloth with polyurethane shell if making things is fun. It may take 4-7 days to make a kayak this way or 2-3 weekends.

Hi Babs, A Beach Volleyball BBQ/potluck meet is listed in Adventure People meetup Saturday Nov 10 starts 1 PM. I setup 3-4 volleyball courts.
