Jay, I go out of Pedro - Cabrillo often.. I just bought a Kawasaki Ultra 300 which is a wild pony on the water... I also have a set of 2 stroke wave raiders that are great for 6+ft swells. Interesting that you are from Forest Hills as I am from LI as well..
Give a call if you want to meet in Redondo or Pedro. The boat ramp at Cabrillo is very easy vs Redondo.
