I love tea. I especially love pureh and food made with tea. I'm a Certified Tea Specialist (Specialty Tea Institute) and I organize the Los Angeles Tea and Long Beach Tea Meetup groups.
Vegetarian. Milk and eggs are okay. My favorite cuisines are Chinese, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Italian.
Oddly, a seafood restaurant in a ship moored off a pier in North Vancouver, BC. They made the best blanced veggies I've ever had. It included samphire. Lovely buttery cream sauce. Totally plain and exotic all at once.
Don't know one by name. Would love one that has gourmet vegan and veggie dishes, like Global Cuisine, if there's one around the area.
Hi Diana, Is this a viable group? The last meeting was July 2013. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much. Joan
Thanks, Dianna. Sorry I can't make the next meetup, my wife and I had already made plans to compete in the Karo syrup cooking contest at the SD County Fair that day.
Thank you Dianna, I am so happy to have found Tyler at Mad Monk Tea. I'm hoping my daughter can attend tomorrow, she will be arriving in town tonight in time for the Grammy's. I hope I will get to see you there also one of these Monday's.
Hi Dianna, Just got back from San Diego, and was sad to hear that Halcyon Tea has closed:(
Hi Dianna....welcome here!
