"A passion for flavour and dedication to detail"

Welcome to MASU, the exciting Japanese robata restaurant and bar located in the Federal Street dining precinct. MASU brings atmosphere, passion and a contemporary twist to the traditional robata style of cooking over an open charcoal grill. My philosophy is simple – use fresh local ingredients, enhance the natural flavours of each dish and let the food speak for itself. This pure approach to cuisine is reflected in our clean, natural décor. Add to this a lively, informal atmosphere and you have a beautifully bold and dramatically different style of Japanese dining in the heart of Auckland.

All confirmed for tomorrow evening (Wed) at 7.30pm. They allow a 2 hour time slot to eat so we need to be out by 9.30pm but that should be plenty of time to eat.

Just to repeat what Maura & Donelle said below, you can park in Sky City and get your parking validated when you pay, "Spend $40 at any participating SKYCITY outlet, validate and pay only $5 for the first hour and then $2 for each additional hour (or part hour)" or alternatively park at Crowne Plaza for an $8 flat rate.

    See you all there! :-)

Hi Ben I'm new so was just wondering how best to find you guys. Is the table booked under your name?

      June 24, 2014

    • Ben

Yes, it's under my name but there probably won't be too many tables of 8 so just have a look and I'm sure you'll recognise some faces from the pics :-)

Hi there, sorry I have a workshop so I have to reschedule for the next dinner there if there is still space. Enjoy

As Leigh mentioned, parking is a nightmare and Skycity parking in very pricey. I parked in Crowne Plaza after a friend's suggestion and it was $8 flat rate compared to $30 plus in Skycity.
