I'm really interested in learning some more skills, and seeing how technologies such as arduino, 3d printing, and robotics can be used. I really want to learn how to design and build things by doing it.
I am interested in helping co-create the Footscray Maker Lab. My experience with building machines is pretty basic, but I'm happy to turn a hand anywhere I can help. I can probably help in setting up controlling software, networks and the like, and my physics lab background could be useful in calibrating and testing equipment.
I like to build things to grok them, previously software systems and some basic robotics and electronics. I have an academic background in physics/maths and have worked writing software.
