I *did* own an M3 though currently I have a Z4. In fact, I've owned quite a few BMW's over the years, have been a long standing member of the BMWCCA, raced BMW's  and until recently, worked for the largest importer of BMW parts in the US, [besides BMW North America that is] ...all of which I would hope qualifies me as an enthusiast? I'm always looking for others to go on drives with and generally share my passion for BMWs. So if they'll have me, I'd be glad to look into their group. If they're interested, feel free to pass my contact info along. Sadly, I've moved across the bay since the end of last season, so attending the SF F1 Meetups is now a challenge.

For the record, I've been thinking of starting up an East Bay Chapter of the F1 Meetup Group if there are enough interested people and I can find a suitable venue. If you know of interested individuals, or good places to watch the races, please let me know. I was thinking something in the Alameda, Berkeley or Oakland-Rockridge / Jack London areas if at all possible.

Until then I'll likely be watching the races at home.

If I don't see you, have fun and Go Robert! [-Though I'd sure like to see Ruben's win the championship in his final year!]
