Re: [formula1-10] Are there any BMW M3 owners and enthusiasts out there?

Julia,

I *did* own an M3 though currently I have a Z4. In fact, I've owned quite a few BMW's over the years, have been a long standing member of the BMWCCA, raced BMW's  and until recently, worked for the largest importer of BMW parts in the US, [besides BMW North America that is] ...all of which I would hope qualifies me as an enthusiast? I'm always looking for others to go on drives with and generally share my passion for BMWs. So if they'll have me, I'd be glad to look into their group. If they're interested, feel free to pass my contact info along. Sadly, I've moved across the bay since the end of last season, so attending the SF F1 Meetups is now a challenge.

For the record, I've been thinking of starting up an East Bay Chapter of the F1 Meetup Group if there are enough interested people and I can find a suitable venue. If you know of interested individuals, or good places to watch the races, please let me know. I was thinking something in the Alameda, Berkeley or Oakland-Rockridge / Jack London areas if at all possible.

Until then I'll likely be watching the races at home.

If I don't see you, have fun and Go Robert! [-Though I'd sure like to see Ruben's win the championship in his final year!]

Cheers!

-Lance

Hi Everyone,

I recently met with Arshad and his BMW M3 Club partners. They are interested in gathering as much info from our members who are passionate about the M3 BMW.

So, if you are interested in learning more about them and the club the are developing, Arshad will be at our F1 opening race...

Let me know... so i can introduce you!

GO BMW :)

below is a description of their Club.. and their website!

Julie

Our current focus are BMW M3 owners and enthusiasts. We launched the discussion forum couple of weeks ago. As it is a brand new forum, we need you (and anyone else) to speak up - tell us about yourself, your vehicle, and tell us what you want most from your experience with the BMW M3 Club.

In addition to the club's Discussion Forums and News & Events sections, we are rolling out new avenues in the coming week, including:

Media Gallery
A media center for the latest and greatest M3 photos and designs

Virtual Garage
A virtual showroom for each member to show off and discuss their own M3

Club Events
A section for races and gatherings around the globe

Local Groups
A place for M3 owners in your area to share information about local shops, mechanics, events, etc.

Marketplace
An online exchange for M3 parts and accessories

As the club develops and the community grows, we will begin to feature exclusive articles and information specific to BMW.

The way we see it, engaged M3 owners around the world, who share a passion for driving as well as an appreciation for meticulous engineering and inspired design, finally have a place to call home.

So go on, explore the web site - then share...drive...and repeat!
