We would like to gauge our member's interest in having the opportunity to meet and speak with Joe Saward by putting on an event called "An Audience with Joe". What is “An Audience with Joe”? Formula 1 is a fascinating sport but isn't very socially-inclusive. Fans are left with little chance to meet and talk to the people who are involved and to find out some of the things that are really going on. In an effort to create a little more "social networking" in Formula 1 this year Joe is to hold events where the fans can gather who would appreciate a drink or two and a chat about the sport. The core of the event remains the same, however, with an introductory chat, questions and answers and then afterwards a chance to talk informally on any subject you care to mention. We are planning to have this event in December in New York City and would cost around $60 for the evening.
