Poi is a performance art where balls are twirled on string or chain in delightful patterns and dances. Experienced dancers will even light these "poi" on fire, sometimes creating beautiful flowers and glowing designs in the air.

This group is for people interested in learning how to spin poi, or for people who do spin and would like to help others learn, or even just for people who would like to know others in the Fort Collins area to spin with. Poi is a fun, social, art to learn, and it's also fun to teach, and if you are new to poi, we are glad to introduce you to it. If you don't have poi of your own, I have some extra practice sets that you can try, and making your own "sock poi" practice sets is simple.

This group is also open to glowstickers.
