Relax and meet fellow paddlers, share stories, and swap paddling locations. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool.
There will be appetizers and drinks, along with give-aways.

Where: Pink Shell Resort on Fort Myers Beach at "Coconuts", a gulf-front cabana bar.

This would be a great time to meet new members, enjoy the beauty of the beach location, and just have some fun out of the kayaks. This festival has lots of activities this year and this is a great way to start it off.

    i am not planning on kayaking to the event. However, if anyone feels like they dont want to kayak back to bunchee beach let me know. I can put your kayak on top of my hyundi santa fe...maybe bring some extra tie downs. See you all there

    Sounds good Phil, will meet you at Bunche Beach about 3:45, hope I can get there on time, I want to listen to my son's football game that starts at 1:00. Hope more people join us!!!! Don't forget flashlights and bug spray.

    If we leave from Bunch Beach we should launch no later then 4. This gives us a easy paddle.

    YOu can launch your kayak just under Mantanzas Bridge, by Bonita Bills, I think there is a boat ramp there, then we could kayak around. Courtney. I will kayak in as well if not from there, from the other end of Fort Myers beach.

    It,s only about a mile from Bunch Beach. We might as well arrive at the opening of a kayak event in ower kayaks.

    Is anyone interested in kayaking to the Pink Shell? Any suggestions for a launch site? I emailed Matt form Doc Fords to see if there is a launch site there.
