Thanks Jory for the offer to bring a rental. I borrowed my neighbors wider hobbie sit on top. Now I should fall out of this one.

Don, is this also a bike place? We could do both since it is a short one...just a thought.

    •  If it wasn't so windy, it would be a very good paddle....
    •  I took a lazy day today & joined the group for lunch after they paddled! As always it was a great time; this group is just fun to be with :-) I'd never been to the Babcock-Webb area and look forward to returning to paddle, bike, walk or just picnic.
    •  WINDY! ...but fun! Good to meet everyone! Jory
    •  This could not have been any better..the lake was wonderful..lets do more lakes..Thanks Don for organizing and helping me load the boats..I had a fabulous time...and it is times like these that make going back to work on Monday easier.
    •  Webb Lake was great...I would do this paddle again. The wind was a bit challenging at times but the paddle was very scenic. We saw alot of birds including a pair of eagles and several gators. Thanks Don!
    •  Heavy winds made paddling hard at times, but it was worth it with the scenery and birds we saw, great park, we must do more like this, ending up with a picnic was a good idea, the music was great Don, what a great group to spend a Sunday paddle with.
    •  The trip was upgraded for experienced kayakers because the wind was blowing "just a bit". It was a great paddle and we are defininitely going again. There is also nice picnic areas which we took advantage of and great bike rode.
    •  What a nice little surprise gem we found! Awesome day, challenging paddle, beautiful setting, saw more birds on this trip than all others combined. Gators, wild boar and deer were also spotted. Lovely picnic to end a perfect day.
    •  A breezy day out on the water but a good half day paddle for everyone. We saw some alligators and even a bald eagle. A wonderful day with some really nice folks.
    •  I know the winds were strong but this group didn,t care. I had a fun time like always.

Great location. Good turn-out. Many nice people I haven't met before as well as the usual suspects. The sun was out. The temperature was perfect. Beautiful lake. Lots of wildlife. The wind was only about cat 5. We should definitely do this again but without the wind. Thanks Don.

This is a great paddle for beginners when the wind is not blowing off course.
