Excellent paddle! We got to see dolphins, manatees, sharks, horseshoe crabs, exotic birds, and more including a very rare skipping rock fish. ;) The manatee elevator ride was a nice surprise. The weather was also great! Good times!

A great kayak trip----a real friendly group.
A giant startled manatee lifted one kayaker and kayak 3 or 4 feet into the air.

Jeff since I haven't lived in FM for many years, I don't know where "dog beach" is. Is the launch site just off the road on the right after crossing the New Pass Bridge? I don't go as far down as "Bonita Beach" where all the condos start up again, right? Looking forward to meeting everyone. Thanks! Jill

I didn't realize we were doing a 10 mile trip. I don't think my "guests" are ready for that, so I'll probably just come by myself.
