How much experience do you have? (never kayaked before, rented a kayak a few times, an avid paddler, etc.)

I started kayaking as a child.

How often would you like to kayak with the group? (once a month, several times a month, a few times a year, etc.)

Frequently - once a month or more.

Do you own a kayak or canoe?

Yes, a two-seater (tandem) with room for a special friend.

What are you hoping to experience with the group? (Develop new friendships, explore natural habitats, just having fun in the sun with other nice people, exercise, etc.)

I enjoy kayaking in natural areas. I would like to get to know some people with similar interests and develop long-term friendships.

We have a lot of fun getting out on the water and exploring our area. Meeting and getting to know others with that desire will possibly lead to new friendships. Several of our members don't own kayaks so we often plan outings to start where kayak rentals are available. We also have a lot of beginner kayakers or people that kayak infrequently who would not be able to keep up a fast pace or paddle very long distances. We paddle at a leisurely pace and our outings are usually 3-4 hours.
