Not sure I succeeded this time - scored two Ouches and a deletion from Chessie.
Perhaps creative editing is not for me - an old dogs/new tricks issue.
But enjoyed the day and company as ever.

Excellent afternoon capturing photographs with everyone, results look amazing too and a great reminder of the day. Lovely to see friends I know and to meet new people too.

Interesting theme. The day was focused and yet relaxed. Everyone was extremely friendly and it added up to a very comfortable atmosphere. Good times.

For everyone that don't know how to process the photos in the style within the theme using Adobe Lightroom, you can find a very useful tutorial here I think, http://youtu.be/fUID64bquHw

We had some nice weather, a great park to work with, nice colorful props and a good atmosphere by everyone present. Can't wait to see the photos.

Check TFL for any closures tomorrow everyone, charge your batteries and carry some umbrellas with you if you like (they can be a nice colored prop for the photoshoot), it might be rainy tomorrow but not nearly enough to prevent us from having our shooting. See you tomorrow everyone! :)

A tip for everyone: It's a good idea to wear something colorful for the photoshoot, so when we edit the photos we can keep the colored garment or accessory colored and desaturate the rest. You can even have something small, like a scarf, a headband, a pair of earrings, anything, have some color details, :)

Look forward to our shoot guys. The weather looks a bit dark for Saturday so please make sure you bring some colorful umbrellas and props as we will be shooting regardless the weather :) A bit of rain never harmed anyone hey :)

Hi Carolyn, indeed, as Paul mentioned there are quite a few free image editing software. depending on whether you use a PC or a Mac, you can find some for you to download. Here is a list for you and anyone else that needs it: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-digital-editor.htm

If that forum isn't too forthcoming, maybe try the forum for your make of camera - they tend to be more helpful. Either way it's quite a good place to look for information and advice.
If you are looking to buy software I personally like Adobe Lightroom though it's not cheap...or you could look at Photoshop Elements

    To Carolyn,
There are some free editing softwares out there that are pretty good I understand...Chessie may be able to advise between options I've heard of such as Gimp, Faststone, Picassa, etc.... Picassa is certainly super easy to use and is a free download from Google. Or you could register on dpreview and ask a question on their Post Precessing Forum for advice on a good place to start http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1003
