Experiments & MVPs: Lessons from the Field

Putting the "lean" scientific method to work for your business is a challenging task. It takes determination and creativity.  In January and February, we're organizing two sessions where we sit down with entrepreneurs to hear about the different kinds of experiments and MVPs they have tried. We will be answering these practical questions:

1. what were they trying to test or validate?

2. how did they structure and run their experiment?

3. what did they learn?

4. how did they put their learnings back into their business?

January 17th is our first session of two, and hopefully we'll all emerge feeling inspired and empowered. We'll be hearing from these great entrepreneurs (in alphabetical order):

David Bloom, Order.in

Michele Serro, The ABC Tool

Shane Snow, Contently

Nick Stamas, Dispatch.io

Cheryl Yeoh, CityPockets

Happy New Year all, and we hope you can join us!

p.s. big thank you to Pivotal Labs for hosting us while Meetup's HQ is under renovation!

Excellent the quality of the speakers was great. The moderator did an amazing job of keeping things on track and venue was wonderful. The best meetup I've been to so far.

Loved the real-world stories. Thanks for keeping it real. I would have liked to see a little more interchange between the storytellers. Also, thought the segments were a little long for a weeknight program. Learned a lot though, and looking forward to next month!

Love the focus on practical implementation versus conceptual ideaware. Kudos to Giff and the rest of the organizers.

Unusual candor from a entrepreneurs, who gave some genuine insights into their trials and errors and showed the not-always-polished side of startups. Well done.
