It's back...the 2014/15 season and we are starting with a rocket.
We pushed out a poll and you took it, and we answered. The three top topics you want to see in FVCP are:
• Social Networking / Building Friendships (78%)
• Professional Networking (74%)
• Open Source Development/coding (66%)
Since so many are interested in Professional Networking we have invited Ellen Huxtable to open the evening to present on this, what it is and show us why we should be doing it.
Ellen Huxtable is a speaker, author and trainer, who leads businesses to survive and thrive. She conducts mastermind groups, and jumpstart programs, as well as providing customized support to clients. She is a member of the Junior Achievement Western Region Board, and the Fermilab Community Board. Ellen holds a MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and is convinced that everyone taller than 5’2” is abnormally tall.
The remainder of the evening Eric will be presenting on performance testing and speed traps.
Review your website for speed for what the search engines are looking for, and using tools such as New Relic and Apache jMeter finding areas for improvement under load.
People start arriving at around 6pm for casual networking, food and drink.
It's in the basement so it'll be cozy.
