The Great Gatsby is based on the classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald that captures the spirit of the roaring 20's. It's about a Midwestern war veteran who finds himself drawn to the past and lifestyle of his millionaire neighbor. I encourage you to read the novel if you never have. Our post-film discussion will focus on how well the film captured the novel and how it stacked up to past adaptations such as Robert Redford's Gatsby film from the 70's.
