The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde at the Towne Centre Theatre

General admission tickets on sale now. After the play, we can go to Panera Bread nearby to visit and discuss the play.  I love this theatre in Brentwood and hope you can join us!

This will be a joint meetup with Nashville's Arts meetup: http://www.meetup.com/NashvilleArts/

The Importance of Being Earnest has long been a favorite of theatergoers who prize its almost unprecedented abundance of wit and paradoxical wisdom. The play's nutty characters are over the top, the sheer inventiveness of their idle observations and pursuits proves consistently and brilliantly hilarious. At the same time, one can't fail to miss Wilde's rapier-like social satire on the utter corruption, pretension and hypocrisy of upper-crust elites who, while hectoring the lower classes for their immorality, rarely observe solemn Biblical dictates in their own daily affairs.

Doors open thirty minutes prior to curtain time which is 2:30 p.m. Seating is general admission so we can buy our tickets separately but sit as a group. Individual Tickets are $20 for adults, and $18 for seniors (60 and older) and students.  We don't have 20 going to get a group discount.

Hi Angela. We look forward to meeting you this afternoon. I'll be wearing a red polo shirt. It's a small auditorium. Afterwards, we'll go to this Panera Bread.
