Here's a message from Kit Seeborg ([address removed]) of the Denver web strategy consulting firm Design for ROI, about an event that some Front Range bloggers might want to participate in:
Update on the Thin Air Summit and a reminder about the soon to close call for presentations.
Thin Air Summit, a conference in Denver that will focus on new media, specifically audio, video and text publishing. The concept is to have an excellent local conference and to showcase Colorado's strong contribution to new media. With a limit of 100 attendees, we're hoping to create an intimate atmosphere of learning and the exchange of ideas. Participants will take away an improved toolkit, skills and ideas to help them in their online new media projects.
We have our Keynote Speakers, Dave Taylor and Jeremiah Owyang. Right now we are working on finalizing our speaker and panel line up and we are still accepting speaking proposals until September 18.
Proposals will be reviewed by the committee and speakers will be selected based on their knowledge level, experience presenting in a 'learning' environment and the relevance of their proposed topic to the conference theme. This is our first year, so we're on a shoestring budget, but the experience we're planning to create should be well worth your time.
