Hello members,

I took the GMAT this past week and scored a 660 (81st percentile). I may decide to take the test again but , for now, I think it is ok to have a go at the schools I was aiming for. I might decide to take the GMAT again but I want to keep my essays as the primary focus of my applications for now and mostly just revise what i already know for the GMAT.

You can reach out to me if you have any specific questions regarding the test or prep material but, in a nutshell, I kinda messed up my timing (especially in Verbal, which was my forte) which bought my score down to about 50 points short of what I was aiming for. The test itself is extremely replicative of the GMAT prep exams (i remember at least one question in Quant which was a like for like replica of a GMAT prep question).

I wanted to take this week off from any business school related so i won't be able to host the study group today but I would like to keep the meetups going in case I decide to retake the test but would now prefer to do so on a weekday (Wednesdays anyone?) so I can keep the weekends to work on my essays. I have had a few members mail me about weekday preferences as well so do let me know if Wednesday (or any other weekday) works for you. For those who prefer the weekend timing, let me know if you can take up alternate host duties and i can assign you as such. There are no costs involved other than a few minutes of your time to book the location. I have a vast database of GMAT questions and can happily provide the alternate host with questions based on the topics you choose for the weekend study groups.

Thank you all for your continued participation in the group which has helped a lot of us become better test takers.

Regards,

Ravish
