Let’s meet at our traditional weekend social gathering
at 4:00PM (both Saturday & Sunday)
at the Food Court of Pier 17 Mall
It is located on the 3rd Floor of Pier 17 Mall
at South Street Seaport Plaza.
The ground level entrance of the mall is in the middle of the building.

entrances to the mall
Once you are in, you can find us on the 3rd Floor,
We are on the tables in the Southeast corner of the Food Court facing
The tables are not reserved for us, but if you come between 3:30PM and
4:00PM, you can always get the tables in the Southeast corner, because
most of the visitors are tourists who are in a hurry to explore the
treasures of Manhattan and in particular the stores in Pier 17 Mall,
South Street Seaport Plaza public events, museums, stores and nearby
Battery Park and Financial District.
Entire Pier 17 Mall has free Wi-Fi connection to the Internet courtesy
of Downtown Alliance. Throughout the mall there are electric outlets
where you can recharge your phone or laptop.
There are many beach chairs and benches on the terraces of the first
and third floor.
There are also several 3 picnic tables on the southwest terrace of the
The Shopping Mall at Pier 17 is open everyday
From 10:00AM till 8:30PM
(on busy days it stays often open till 10:00PM
on slow Sundays the doors are closed by 6:00PM but if you are already
inside you can stay till 8-9:00PM)
In the mall there are several restaurants and bars.
The average price of a meal from the fast food vendors in the Food
Court on the 3rd floor is around $7. Most of the vendors offer free
samples of their food.
Some of the restaurants work whole night.
The “Beekman Bier Garden & Beach” is now closed till next spring.
If you run out of “Evian” water, keep your plastic container because
Mayor Mike Bloomberg provides free of charge plenty of “Bloomberg tap”
throughout the mall.
Bathrooms are on the second floor and are huge and free of charge.
I hope to see all fateful cyclists this weekend at our meeting place at
the Food Court of Pier 17 Mall.
