Announcing a new Meetup for The New York City Freemasons & Eastern Star Meetup Group!

What: The Last Corsairs Club

When: August 1,[masked]:00 PM

The Limerick House
69 W 23rd St in the upstairs room
New York, NY 10010

Our works which have for some time been suspended are again in full vigor.

The Corsairs Club, started by (now Worshipful) Brother Bill Gibbons and myself has remained dark for the last year, but will sail once more this Summer. Corsairs Club meetings are Masonic in flavor, but not technically as such, so all are invited. They include a ceremonial festive board consisting of ritual toasts followed by a short lecture and discussion on some philosophical or historical topic.

For this (possibly) final meeting of the Corsairs Club, I will be presenting on on the essay, Shop Class as Soulcraft by Matthew B. Crawford and how it relates to Freemasons. I encourage you to read the article before coming if you can, but it's not necessary.

I urge you to come to what may be the last of a truly unique and enjoyable event. All brethren and friends welcome!
