Educational SIG - Skepticism 101

The next Educational SIG will be on October 13th at 10 AM -noon
We will meet at SHC 1953 W. Grant Rd., Tucson AZ 85745

The topic will be the continuing series by Professor Michael Shermer from the Teaching Company Great Courses CD's entitled Skepticism 101: How to Think Like a Scientist.

Lectures entitled "Mistakes in Thinking We All Make" and "Cognitive Biases and Their Effects"
Discussion will follow each lecture. You will learn how to think, not what to think and be skeptical unless there is evidence to support the claim.

If you are interested in meeting with fellow freethinkers we socialize over lunch close by.

I left the church as a pre-teen, and never looked back. I can relate to some of the biases we will talk about sunday.

If you always think you are making rational decisions that have no biased. Think again. We must not fool ourselves so come and learn how to think like a scientist.
