Tory Anderson - "The Inside Story of Arizona legislation and Legislators"

Tory Anderson is the lobbyist for the Secular Coalition for Arizona.  Her political career began in 2005 when she was hired as a budget analyst for Governor Janet Napolitano.   A regular face at the Arizona State Legislature, her lobbying group, Equitaz, takes clients with mission and issues close to her heart.  An active atheist, Tory believes in the work of the Secular Coalition for Arizona and considers it an honor to be the voice for the Secular Community.  She holds a Masters in Public Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of Arizona.  She lives in Goodyear with her husband and two children Audrey (8) and Kai (4).  She volunteers with Girl Scouts AZ as a Brownie Troop leader and with the school Parent-Teacher Organization.  In her spare time, she is an avid triathlete, and can often be found running, cycling, or swimming.

From religious privilege to discrimination and everything between, the 2014 Legislative Session proved to be a busy one for our Secular Community.  Tory Anderson is the lobbyist for the Secular Coalition for Arizona, and will be with us on June 22 to share insider information about the bills, the politics, and a complete wrap-up of the issues important to the Secular Community from the legislative session.

This event will be held at DuVal auditorium and is sponsored by FreeThought Arizona.

Very informative and I think the Secular team up in Phoenix is doing a great job.

I agree Jim. We're fortunate we have such an energetic, competent, and knowledgeable person representing us and countervailing the radical, irrational, religious right.
