Apologies for the late notification, but I do not feel well at all today and will need to stay in, rest and recover. I'd really wanted to attend, so I am looking forward to the next weekend session. I wish everyone a great time today.

Wish, I could come this saturday but I am working this weekend.

On another note below is an event organized by La maison francaise in DC that some of you might find interesting- I will be there with a friend- let me know if anyone needs a ride from B'more.

African Soirée: featuring Cameroon’s Kaissa in concert
    Friday, April 12 at 8:00 p.m.
at the National Museum of African Art
    950 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, D.C. 20560

    - Premium 7pm admission: $75
    - VIP 7pm admission: $125
    - General 8pm admission: $35

The Smithsonian’s African Art Museum and International Gallery are transformed into an exotic and high-energy night spot that mixes art, fashion, music, and dancing as this year’s Francophonie festival closes in gala style. The evening will feature Cameroon’s Kaissa, a singer-songwriter who’s soaring vocal talents and African-inspired rhythmic songs have captivated audiences world-wide.

This sounds great, but it's my first language meet up. What's the attire since it's being held at a nice hotel, where do we park and how much is parking? Thanks in advance, Lesa

Lesa--it's just a coffeeshop in the hotel! There will be students there studying, so you don't have to worry about being dressed nicely... though I won't be dressed like a student. You should be able to find parking in the Harbor East area, or you can park at Whole Foods around the corner. If you go in and buy anything (even just some water) you can get validated parking.

    It's from 2 to 5? That's a long time to speak French:)

Vous pouvez venir entre 14h et 17h--il est pas oblige de rester 3h. But look out--it's easy for me to speak French OR English for three hours. =)
