Saturday, June 22 La Fete de la Musique at the Embassy of France - Tickets only $10 and includes performances by over 50 bands and street performers. Each year on the summer solstice, the French gather in the streets to celebrate the change of seasons with la Fete de la musique -- a dynamic tapestry of music and dancing to the sounds of musicians. For the 11th consecutive year, the Embassy of France recaptures this lively atmosphere in its garden. More than 50 bands and street performers are expected to attend, creating a spectrum of local artistic talent for your enjoyment. Throughout the afternoon and evening, relax at our terrace cafe while savoring barbecued specialties, French "assiettes" (assorted plates), pastries, cotton candy, coffee, beer, wine, and -- of course -- bubbly (food and drinks sold separately). As the sun goes down, dance into the night as a DJ spins some of your favorite tunes! Please click here for tickets and information.
Here is a bit of information via the link. I certainly want to do the dancing part. Let's get some feedback on what time folks would like to join in.
