Speak FRENCH and WALK on the BEACH

Let's start off the weekend with a Walk on the Beach Boardwalk, a la Francaise!

That's right, we'll meet at Mission Beach in front of Hamel's Surf Shop (708 Ventura Place, 92109) on the Boardwalk at 9:30am this Saturday. We'll walk to Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach, and stop for a coffee/drink at Kono's Cafe (704 Garnet Avenue, 92109).

The main focus is to speak French, meet new people, and enjoy the beach in the morning. We will mostly be speaking in French, so this is for average to advanced speakers. But if you are learning and want to listen in, pas de probleme.

Wearing your French beret, French maid outfit, and bringing a bucket of French fries is highly recommended, but absolutely optional. :D

Though, please note, dogs are not allowed at the beach/boardwalk (even if you carry it).
They even asked me to leave because they thought I was a...'St. Bernard.'

We will wait about 10 min. before leaving for the walk. So you can catch up with us if you are late.

PS - If you don't RSVP you won't be able get last minute notices as in cancellations, time/location changes, etc...)

This meetup is always free of charge and generously sponsored by Sophie Juster, a certified french teacher from Paris. Check out her site at www.fromenglishtofrench.com. The rates for the lessons start at $9.99/hr.

Looking forward to my first meet-up and my first time in Mission Beach - what is the parking situation there?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
