La Promenade

(en français ci-après)

Let's start off the weekend with a Walk in Balboa Park, a la Francaise!

We'll meet at the Japanese Tea Pavilion in Balboa Park, just in front of the Organ Pavillion at 9:30am this Saturday. (You can park behind the Organ Pavilion, then follow the sidewalk to the entrance.  The Tea Pavilion will be just next to it.)  The route will be described on the day of the walk.  It will change for each Saturday in December but will be in Balboa Park for most of the month of December.

The main focus is to speak French, meet new people, and enjoy park in the morning. We will mostly be speaking in French, so this is for average to advanced speakers. But if you are learning and want to listen in, pas de probleme.

We will wait about 10 min. before leaving for the walk.

PS - If you don't RSVP you won't be able get last minute notices as in cancellations, time/location changes, etc...)

This meetup is always free of charge and generously sponsored by Sophie Juster, a certified french teacher from Paris. Check out her site at www.fromenglishtofrench.com. The rates for the lessons start at $9.99/hr.

Due to my own scheduling error, I will not be able to walk today.

December Nights begins at noon on Saturday, the earliest. I don't foresee a conflict. We'll be there at 9:30. The crowd mostly arrives in mid-afternoon.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
