Nanta Karaoke and Bar
On Saturday, May 3rd, I will have successfully gone continuously one half of a century from the date of my birth without dying.
In past years, I have said no presents, but this year, I have a request. Presents are still optional. Even just your presence will please me greatly. However I was wondering, seeing as it is my half century, perhaps we could look around for some interesting socks. By interesting, I mean, for example, bright banana yellow with blue polka dots, Powerpuff Girl socks, lime sherbert green, or with funny patterns, like purple hearts, Santa Claus, smiley faces, penguins or flying toasters.
I will also gladly accept beverages as presents.
Until approximately 11:30pm, I will be at the karaoke bar at 512 - 6th St SW called Nanta Karaoke and Bar. Nanta Karaoke and Bar is on 6th Street West about a block and a half North of the 6th Street LRT station, on the East side, above Chinese Village restaurant. There is nothing to see on the ground floor except a steel door to the left of Chinese Village, so if you didn't know it was there, you might walk right by it. They have added some neon signs with "Nanta" in Korean and Japanese on the SECOND floor windows, but you have to look up.
There is $2 municipal parking on 5th av and 9th av. That's $2 total for the whole evening after 6:00pm.
Feel free to bring any guests.
