Bonjour tout le monde,


Ce mercredi, le 6 aout, on va se réunir pour le groupe a 

NOUVEAU CAFÉ!!!

C'est bien de changer de temps en temps alors on va essayer un autre café pour voir comment ça se passe...

Le nouveau café c'est:  Common Cup Coffee.

L'adresse c'est:  1511 Washtenaw Ave. Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104

C'est en bas d'University Lutheran Chapel.  Vous entrez a la porte marque Common Cup Coffee et vous descendez les escaliers et vous aller y nous trouver!

Il y a un parking - vous pourrez conduire et se garer devant le café.

Vous pourrez y aller aussi a pieds - c'est sur Washtenaw Ave entre S University et Hill.

Vous pourrez aussi y aller en bus - les lignes 2 ou 4.

On va y se réunir a 19h-21h00 comme d'habitude.

Derek Vaillant will discuss his current book project, Across the Waves: Radio and U.S.-French Aural Culture in the Twentieth Century, which looks at broadcasting as a transatlantic technological, social, and cultural medium linking France and the U.S. in the twentieth century. He is an historian appointed in communication studies at the University of Michigan. His research has focused on the social and cultural history of American music, sound studies, and the history of broadcasting in the U.S. and in France. He is the author of Sounds of Reform: Progressivism and Music in Chicago,[masked] (Chapel Hill, 2003). He has previously worked for a number of educational media companies, including research and production in association with award-winning series at NPR and PBS with Bill Moyers.
