Come and join other francophone / francophile folks in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere where you will feel comfortable expressing yourself in French at any level. We meet every two weeks in White Plains and also try to organize cultural and other events in the area that allow us to express ourselves in French.

I want to remind newcomers (to the club or to the French language) that out Meetup welcomes French speakers of all levels. Don't have much experience speaking French? You've got to start somewhere, and this is the place. If you already speak French fluently, you won't be disappointed either.

If you haven't attended one of our Meetups before, note that the only cost is one dollar, which helps defray the cost of communicating through the Meetup.com interface. At Atlanta Bread Company, you can order whatever you want, a sandwich, salad or pizza, just a drink, or nothing as the mood suits you. We meet a table or two in front of the ordering station, and I will try to have a French flag handy. We usually break up at 8:30 or 9:00pm, but sometimes animated conversations continue into the night.

We sometimes have special events, potluck dinners, sailing, wine tastings, and other delights throughout the year.
