Hi,Kevin,
You were not at Peninsula Jammers' last meetup. It was my first time with that group. Are you still active with PJ's?
By the way,I spotted that you are a Dave Matthews Band fan. I wasn't even trying to read all your interests. Gotta say,it's nice to know someone who can appreciate DM Band.
hi there kevin ,
Nice to meet you here.
why do you want to be vegetarian ??
I have been being vegetarian for 10 years.
Kevin, I'm really sorry for spiking your foot at soccer. Wish I could wear my indoor soccer shoes on grass! Either that, or I just need to be a bit more stand-offish. Hopefully I didn't break anything! My toe was broken in a similar way last year, so I know how it feels to get stepped on. Really sorry, and I'll try to be more careful next time. Hopefully, I didn't turn you off to playing with us again. Hope you are ok, and see you next week? - Paul
Hi Kevin, Yes I'm just starting with vegetarian meetups. I started a vegan diet in August for health reasons. So far so good! So far I've read: The Engine 2 Diet, The China Study, and Veganist - all of which you can get in the library. I've started my own blog at: siliconvegan.wo
rdpress.com to record my experiences.
Hi Kevin, the study was an Epigenetics study of twins. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epigenet...![]()
The study, as reported on a PBS television show (probably Nova), showed that young identical twins have nearly identical Epigenetics, while 80 year old identical twins, which have always lived close to each other and have extremely similar lives, etc, have extremely different Epigenetics, which accounts for things like different reactions to foods, medicines, different diseases (impacts Epigenetics?)
Missed you at the Int'l potluck even you rsvp'd to attend.
Hi Kevin! Thanks for joining!
I'd love any advice. I am preparing for FAR now. How many hours did you study each day/week?
Yes! I guess the character for love is still the same!
Oh that's so, cool! I didn't know that Ai means love in Mandarin too....it makes sense though since the kanji has Chinese roots. I'm glad it translates well :)
