Razia Said Friday, February 22, 2013
5:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Free after admission
Razia Said is a Malagasy musician who lived in Madagascar until the age of seven. Her critically acclaimed songs, often performed with her musical collective Zebu Nation, center around a call-for-action against the plundering of Madagascar’s environment. Inspired by a return visit to her country, she has crafted a mixture of western and Malagasy rhythms and sounds.

The event is free after you purchase your art museum admission ticket ($20). We will be near or around the main steps, inside the museum. There will probably be quite a few people there, so check your organizers' photos "before" going to the event! :)
