Mutual interest in French conversation and culture, inclusive of the Maghreb, and to make friends.
Tough question, too many to choose from in all categories Movies: Le Sauvage & The Man from Rio (Movies), and more recently, L'Arnacours, anything with Alain Delon and Deneuve. Songs: Many, generally anything by Francis Cabrel (Je T'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerais), Aznavour, Edith Piaf, Serge Gainsbourg, Jaques Brel.... Books: Le Voyageur Imprudent by Barjavel, and always loved "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Dumas
I used to be fluent in my teens and twenties. But then it fell into disuse for 10 years (focused on Greek and Italian). I would say on a good day, and with the help of a little wine, it can be conversationally fluent, but most of the time, with a cluttered mind, intermediate. Still actively taking classes once a week. J'ai un bon accent, je comprends tout, mais je ne peut pas bien bien m'exprimer.
Bonjour! I'm Debi. Last name has an "ñ" not an "n." Just looking to practice my very rusty French and make friends. I'm a native Spanish speaker from Perú that started studying French via a career in ballet (age 3-30), and then kept it up in school.
