This group is for anyone who owns or loves French Bulldogs!! So join if you have a Frenchie, want one, or have dogs that need good dog friends!
Please understand that this group was formed solely for the purpose of good will and socializing amongst French Bulldogs and their owners - not as a platform for the breeding, studding or selling of dogs. Re-homing of family pets in a solid and respectable manner is condoned, and of course discussions of members' personal experiences with breeders and rescue groups they've acquired dogs from is acceptable. The first mentioned will not be tolerated at meetups or on the group's messege board - no exceptions.
Meetups are usually organized on the 3rd or 4th/last weekend of the month, and we love suggestions for fun and different places that we haven't been before. There is a $5 minimum donation per Frenchie family required to attend; all overages after covering the montly fee to Meetup.com are donated to French Bulldog Rescue (French Bulldog Rescue Network or Short Mugs Rescue Squad) to help aid in the mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Frenchies in need throughout North America.
All* French Bulldogs and their families welcome!
(*Please kindly take into account YOUR dog's nature and the feelings of others and their pets when making your decision to attend.
*This group is comprised of many FRIENDLY, non-dominant or aggressive Frenchies, and we want to keep it that way. Thus while this group is meant for socializing dogs and we do understand that some who are new to the group, or being around other dogs in general, may be overwhelmed at first, we will not tolerate a continual over-aggressor and said party will be asked respectfully to refrain from coming again until their dog is more comfortable in larger-scale situations.
*As well, we ask that the health of the dogs who attend be of the highest standard!! Your dog is not welcome to attend Meetup if its vaccinations are not current and up to date for its age (this includes puppies under the age of 6 months), if it is in Heat or showing any signs of being close to a breeding cycle, if it's been experiencing or exposed to ANY SIGNS of illness within the last week, or if there are any open sores present on the day of the gathering.)
