Friday Night Dice Weekly Meetup

This is our weekly Friday night gaming meet up.

We gather, eat, play and have fun.

The Building is a 4800 sqft Multi-Purpose building that we have access to from 5pm till ??? (at least Midnight usually 1 or 2am)

Bring your favorite game and some drinks/food. We pile all the drinks and food up on a table and share among all the gamers.  So its like a big family playing games!

We have 5 private rooms and a Large 3000 Sqft Main Hall

One is a Video Game Room where people get some electronic gaming going on!

One is a D&D room with a Pathfinder Game Played Every Friday

And as always the HUGE main gaming hall!

From Cards to Cribbage, Settlers to Squad Leader, Backgammon to Battling Dragons all are welcome!

There is no set charge for the meetup but the building, paper goods, water, utilities, website, etc. have a cost.  The recommended donations of 3-5$ per person helps keep this group running and is greatly appreciated.

See you there,

Shawn

My car started smoking on the way home, so I'm not sure if it's safe to drive it. If anyone reads this and is in the Burbank area and can give me a ride, let me know.

Hmm. I am the best shot with a bow and arrow... but I don't actually hunt with it so I guess I am ok.

Had fun playing "What the Food?!" and meeting Pathfinder peoples! I did this drawing of the Pathfinder lodge thingy on my phone while I was sitting in the corner. (lol) http://i.imgur.com/oFwjrx6.jpg

I think I'm gonna go with some different stuff this week. A couple of people expressed interest in trying Catacombs (think D&D meets Crokinole), so I'll bring that. I'll also bring a couple of 2012 Essen games that haven't hit the table yet - Space Cadets (co-op space themed game), Myrmes (competing ant colonies) and maybe Spartacus (Gladiator fights and political backstabbing) or The Manhattan Project (be the first to build a nuke!). See you all Friday.

If anyone wants to join me for trying out my game, it's an easy to learn "light" card game- about 30 min to learn and 20-30 to play. 2-6 players. cafeteria food fight theme, with variable player powers. I'm kickstarting it in 2 weeks. :) I'll be around with the copy at around 6:30 or so.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
