Let's enjoy this movie in the West Valley!

Film Festival Movie:
"The Day I Saw Your Heart" comedy

France: 98 minutes
Genre: Comedy
Language: French w/English subtitles

Heartfelt, heartless, heart sick, heart ached, and heartened. No other of our human organs says so much about us as does our heart. Literally and figuratively the interaction of bittersweet relationships, long standing misunderstandings, and failed communications draws us to a family of characters that you will find sometimes likable, sometimes not, even as you continue to care about them. You will want to come see them; after all, who better than the French for affairs of the heart.

Guest Speaker: Janet Arnold is an actress and founder of the Arizona Jewish Theatre Company.

She produced over 80 shows while serving as AJTC's producing director from 1988 to 2012. Janet was named Creative Artist of the Year in 2001 by the YWCA and was a Governor's Arts Award nominee in 2008. She received the 2012 AriZoni Theatre Award of Excellence for her body of work and recently was honored by the Arizona Jewish Historical Society for the work she and the theatre did for the community.

Followed by the Short Film (included in the price):
"Gentle Dog" (Israel)
Comedy: 10 minutes, Hebrew w/English Subtitles
Director: David Shadi

I will try online tonite to buy my ticket and, also, please understand if the weather is rainy. I will be there if the sun is out or clouds without rain. Here in Buckeye we had clumps of ice yesterday instead of rain. One was as big as our palms. So forgive me if I stay out of the rain. OK? thank you. Ellen

I bought my ticket online ($11.34). The gpjff.org website refers people to "Brown Paper Tickets" online ticket sales.
