Ur right they are not going to use Groupon, Heres three reason why... it's a fundraiser, they don't need the exposure and it sales out on it's own...

Not that we expect special treatment, but if I pay full price, I'd only do it on my day off, so I could stay. Sometimes we are valuable to have there. IE: Walmart, parked in a No Parking Zone to get a couple things. <loud speaker> "Code white, parking lot, will the EMS crew please come to the front" A girl had tripped and hit her head, bleeding profusely. We stopped the bleeding, had her c-collared and back boarded by the time HFD arrived.

Most places would let us come in while waiting on calls. We never knew if we would be there 10 mins, or several hours. Most theater managers would let us watch a movie, even. We were there with a licensed Ambulance, they knew that if they needed us, we were there on the spot to help with anything that needed medical attention. The Zoo officials.....they are just freaking jerks.

Yeah, just got that the other day. Zoo officials would have to contact Groupon and set it up. Trust me, they will not. I used to go to the zoo, while I was on the ambulance, we would "Stage" there while waiting for a call. The officers at the gate would let us in to fool around for a bit, till we got the call. Zoo officials found out, and threw a fit. Said we could not come in for even 10 minutes without paying full price. We were on duty in full uniform, just wanting to kill some time.

Here is the response I got to my inquiry about actual ticket prices.... Thank you for your interest in Feast with the Beasts 2011 ? tickets go on sale September 1st. Prior to the ticket purchase date, we will send you an email with exclusive pre-sale information. Um....not a very good response, huh? I cannot even get a ball park figure. They ain't talk'in. It was obviously an automated response. All I can do at this point, is wait for their e-mail and post it as soon as I get it.... Mike

There are no actual prices posted, it says to e-mail them. When I buy a "Groupon" ticket, it's fair market value, is usually 25 bucks, but I pay 3 or 4 for it. So, don't dismiss it yet, I will post when I get an answer.

In the FAQ's A question was "Is my ticket tax deductible?" The answer was "Fair market value of benefits received from the ticket is 50.00." They may be a lot less than that. I have an e-mail in, to find out exactly how much the tickets are.

Can you get a promo code? These tix appear to be about 50.00 per person for regular entry. You have all the tools here, needed to set it up as a scheduled event with details and pics. Put it together girl! Let's see if it flies! :)
