Hi Saturday Dinner members!! I've got an urgent request for you.
Last summer, we celebrated our 1 year anniversary with a big celebration at the Excelsior and Grand Commons. This event was entirely made possible by a generous sponsor and fellow members, Ray Shan and Justin Barrett with the Holy Cow Company. Thanks to them, the event was a big success and propelled us into a new year of dinners. Now, they need our support.
Our sponsors are asking us to vote online to promote a documentary on organic farming across the globe.
Please read below about their amazing project and vote for it!! Thanks for your support everyone!!
Saturday Night Dinners
Please vote for us and help to promote organic, sustainable farming!
Dear friends of Holy Cow,
We are in an exciting contest on ideablob.com, a website that helps to promote and grow ideas. We will use the winnings to fund an indie documentary about organic, sustainable farming around the world. We currently provide photos and stories of our organic farmers and manufacturers on our website at HolyCowCompany.com. Everything we make come with a 9-digit tracking code that allows you to trace your garment back to its farm-field origin. The film will be an extension of our vision, professionally produced, to promote organic farming and how it changes people's lives. It will cover regions with strong textile industries such as the U.S., India, Turkey, etc. The film will be freely distributed under Creative Commons via the following channels: DVD, direct download, and online streaming in HD via YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Flickr, etc.
Voting takes 10 seconds and ends midnight Saturday, 2-7-09. Please visit here:
Please also join us at our Happy Hour at McCoy's Tuesday night at 5:30pm. You will be helping to change people's lives in rural areas. We appreciate your support!
