I like the idea of meeting with women without having botox and pamper parties being the main events.
I like to bike and walk my dog. I used to ski a lot, but since I moved out of the mountains, it doesn't seem like I ski as much as I did.

Hi Tanya and welcome aboard. You have joined a great group of ladies. We are always having fun, sharing laughs and looking forward to the next adventure. Looking forward to meeting you soon.
Welcome to the group, Tanya! This is a diverse and active group of gals. Snowshoes are filling in the calendar and I can't keep up with them. We try not to open RSVPs until 1 month before...why?...cause people tend to sign up for everything and then forget and end up being a No Show. Check out the Fraiser Hill tubing Jan 7...Great Fun!!!! See you soon!
Hey Tanya! Thanks for getting back to me. I found a guy right near home here who had 7 day-old barred rocks, Buff orps and easter eggers. I picked up 6 (two of each, hoping for 3-4 pullets out of the bunch) and they are happily rummaging around in the brooder and getting big fast! They are two weeks old now and I am having a blast. They are happy and healthy and I am off to a good start. Thanks again for the advise!
tanya, I would love to pick your brain. I am hoping to bring a few hens into my Lakewood backyard. I am hoping for Barred Rocks, light brahmas, Buff Orpingtons or any others you might suggest. I think I can only get away with three and am hoping for some young pullets. Any suggestions for breeders who might have young 'uns suited for our climate. I am hoping for docile (read quiet) hens to fit into our neighborhood.
Thank you for joining the group Tanya! How exciting that you and your husband teach a class about chickens! Do you have any files with informative information you can share with others, via the "Files" and "Message Board" section? Let me know if there is anything I can do for you!
