What is Ultimate Frisbee? Basically it's a combination of soccer and football, but you don't get tackled and you use a Frisbee instead of a ball.
Don't worry if you haven't played before, we're just out to have some fun! Every newbie caught on within 5 minutes and came back for more. Plus, we'll be running around and having such a great time that you won't be thinking about the fact that you're working out!
First team to get to 10 points wins the game. We generally get in about 2 games, sometimes 3.
REMEMBER TO BRING:
-A white AND a colored T-shirt or tank-top so we can differentiate the teams.
-Sunblock and/or hat
-Athletic shoes, recommended.
-Snack for half-time, if you like!
We'll break up into two different fields of play if we end up having lots of people show up.
(If we have fewer than 6 players show up, then we'll play Rapid-Fire Frisbee Golf...a hybrid form of golf with an element of speed to bump up the fitness level of the game.)
IF RAINING, event will be cancelled. Check back on this page at 9AM (day of event) to see any cancellation announcement, if weather is questionable.
