Friday Late at The National Gallery + Drinks Afterwards (8th March)

Join us for a Friday late opening at The National Gallery. The National Gallery is one of the ten most popular art galleries in the world.
The museum features works from artists such as Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Constable and Monet. The gallery is home to over 2300 masterpieces. The museum has free entry and is open until 9pm on our visit. We will meet outside the main Trafalgar Square entrance at 7pm (I will have a Meetup sign). Once inside, members can either stay with our group or explore the museum by themselves. Please note this is a general visit to the permanent exhibitions rather than an official guided tour.
At exactly 9.00pm we will meetup outside the gallery and then head for a nearby local bar for a chat over a few drinks. There are a number of possibilities (and we have already contacted a few venues that we know from previous meetups we have scheduled). However, it has not been possible to reserve an area at the time we will be leaving the gallery as Friday nights are so busy in Central London after 9pm. So the venue we choose for drinks after we have visited the gallery will be selected on the night (my brother Terry or myself will leave the gallery 20 minutes before everyone else to find a suitable place that it is not too busy - this has always worked well on past meetups as there are so many large venues in Central London).

Hi Gurjinder, there's still ten on the waiting list at the time of writing this message and we really are at capacity, so I would be grateful if people are patient.
