Note 1) Please can everyone kindly observe the waiting list as we are at capacity for this event.
Note 2) We highly recommend new members arrive as close to the start as possible, ideally before 8.00pm (the events starts at 6:30pm). At this time it's much easier to introduce new members to the group, before most members start arriving after 8pm
Note 3) Please ensure you state 'Friends in London Meetup' at the bar to receive the Happy Hour until 9:00pm (scroll down to view details of the drinks included in the happy hour).
Note 4) This venue is near St Paul's Tube Station. From St Paul's Tube Station take Exit 1 (the 'Cheapside' exit). Please scroll down for the Google image map to this location. The event hosts (John, Raf and Cathy) will be in the function room waiting to greet new members (this is a large separate room on the right hand side of the bar). In the unlikely event that we don't see you first, please ask members/staff for the event hosts so you can be introduced to the group.
Join us for Friday After-Work-Drinks at Carey Lane Wine Bar near St Paul's Tube Station. This is a beautiful Balls Brother's venue very conveniently located in the heart of the City.
The venue is ideal for conversation as there is only very low background music. This wine bar is open until 11pm.
We've managed to arrange a special extended Happy Hour just for our group on selected drinks from our arrival until 9:00pm. The Happy Hour deal covers the following drinks: Glasses of house red or white wine at £3.50. 50% off selected 'full bottles' of wine and Becks draught lager/beer at £3 a pint.
Please note that Balls Brothers has several wine bars in London, just in case there is any confusion.
We have reserved the beautiful and open-spaced private function room just for our group. The event hosts will be waiting to greet new members by the function room entrance (holding white attendance sheets).
Note that this event will be hosted by John, Raf and Cathy (The usual organisers, Martyn and Terry, are away on holiday in Wales).
